Product Introduction
This is a DIY kit with separate components that requires self-soldering. Electronic DIY projects involve risks, so basic electronic knowledge is required—please choose cautiously. The Tesla coil generates high-temperature, high-voltage plasma, enabling ignition, wireless power transmission, fluorescent lamp lighting, and arc production. It offers diverse uses and serves as an engaging science experiment project.
During development, the primary coil was pre-integrated into the PCB, eliminating the need for external winding. This design enhances installation efficiency for enthusiasts and ensures a neat appearance. The Tesla coil is safe (no electric shock risk) and suitable for student experiments, graduation design projects, etc.
The input voltage ranges from 9 to 12V. While a 9V battery can initiate operation, 12V is required for arc generation.
Application Instructions
This Tesla coil module can be used for magic shows (like “airborne lighting”), arc-based ignition, or as a decorative piece (placed near displays for viewing). It supports multiple functions.
Notes
1.The module has low power and poses no electric shock risk, but avoid touching the arc at the coil top—it may cause a burning sensation.
2.Keep your body and other objects away from the coil when it is operating (maintain a 0.5-meter clear zone around the coil). Other objects act as good conductors, forming a closed circuit that absorbs the coil’s energy, weakening or disabling the demonstration effect.
3.Keep electronic devices (like mobile phones, MP3 players) away from the coil. High-frequency magnetic fields may interfere with these devices, causing malfunctions or damage.
4.The module requires an external power supply to operate.
5.The kit contains loose electronic components that need self-assembly. Basic electronic skills (like reading resistor color codes, identifying transformer installation direction) are necessary—incorrect assembly may cause damage.
6.Do not touch the heat sink after prolonged operation, as it becomes extremely hot (especially when using a 24V high voltage). Add an external cooling fan if needed, or turn off the power to let it cool down before reuse.
