Precautions

  • Equipped with a power indicator light; the module works normally when the light is on.
  • The input voltage must be at least 1.5V higher than the output voltage.
  • For long – term operation, it is recommended to use a current within 2.5A, and add a heat sink (for output above 10W); since it is a step – down module, to ensure stable output, please keep a minimum 1.5V difference.
  • For the initial blue potentiometer from the factory, when the resistance is at the maximum, after applying the input, turn the knob counterclockwise for about 10 circles, and then the output voltage will change! (The values obtained from experiments are for reference only; the actual situation shall prevail. Note that this module is a step – down module and cannot be used for step – up. )(Do not reverse the positive and negative poles; reversing them will most likely cause damage. )

It stores energy in an inductor during the “on” phase and releases it to the output during the “off” phase, stepping down the voltage efficiently.
