Product Introduction

The DS1302 real time clock has the ability to calculate seconds, minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, and years up to 2100, as well as the ability to adjust for leap years. It has a 318-bit buffer data storage RAM. The serial I/O port mode minimizes the number of pins. It operates within a wide voltage range of 2.0/5.5V. The operating current is less than 300nA at 2.0V. There are two transmission methods when reading/writing clock or RAM data: single-byte transmission and multi-byte transmission in character group mode. The 8-pin DIP package or the optional 8-pin SOIC package is based on surface mount assembly. It has a simple 3-wire interface. An optional industrial-grade temperature range of -40℃ to +85℃ is available. Dual power supply tubes are used for the main power supply and backup power supply.
