Product Brief

Adopts a photoresistor to sense light intensity, with a built-in relay that can directly control AC or DC loads. The maximum load capacity of the normally open interface is AC 0V-250V/10A and DC 0V-30V/10A.
Sensitivity can be adjusted via a potentiometer. By adjusting the potentiometer, the relay activation threshold is set. When the light intensity is lower than this threshold, the module’s relay pulls in; when higher, the relay releases.
Features an intelligent adjustment design. After the relay is activated, it automatically fine-tunes the activation threshold to solve the problem of frequent activation at the threshold.
The module has reverse connection protection. Connecting the power supply in reverse will not damage the module.
Equipped with a power indicator light and a relay status indicator light.
Provides 4 mounting bolt holes to facilitate easy installation.
Module dimensions: 5.0cm × 3.0cm × 1.8cm.
A 30cm-long photoresistor detection lead is included with the module for free.

Usage Instructions

The photoresistor module is sensitive to ambient light and is generally used to detect changes in the brightness of the surrounding environment.
When the ambient light is darker than the set threshold, the relay pulls in, connecting the common terminal to the normally open terminal (and disconnecting it from the normally closed terminal). While when the ambient light is brighter than the set threshold, the relay disconnects, breaking the connection between the common terminal and the normally open terminal (and connecting it to the normally closed terminal).
The three terminals (common terminal, normally open terminal, and normally closed terminal) function like a two-way switch. When the relay coil is energized, the common terminal is connected to the normally open terminal; when de-energized, the common terminal is connected to the normally closed terminal.
