Introduction
This is an FT232RL USB-to-serial port module: a USB-to-TTL level converter (also USB-to-RS232/TTL/RS232TTL, protected version).
Parameter
- TXD/RXD: FT232RL chip signal I/O ports, supporting TTL/CMOS levels.
- LED indicators: Show TX/RX signal status.
- Interface: Uses TYPE-C port, powered by USB. Selectable 5V or 3.3V output (for other voltage requirements, adjust directly on the pin header/PCB).
- Pin definition (top view): DTR, RTS, TX, VCC, CTS, GND.
Notes
This device does NOT support USB 3.0. Use a full-speed USB (USB 2.0) interface for stable operation.
Overcurrent protection: The module uses a 500mA self-recovery fuse to protect your USB port and equipment.
Power supply: The FT232 module is fully powered by USB. The FT232RL chip converts USB to serial port, with two power supply versions.
Every module undergoes a 10-byte self-test (transmit-receive test) before leaving the factory.
