Product Description
The NEO-6M GPS module features high sensitivity, low power consumption, and a compact design. Its extremely high tracking sensitivity greatly expands its positioning coverage—even in locations where ordinary GPS receiver modules fail to locate, such as under narrow urban skies or in dense jungle environments, the NEO-6M can still achieve high-precision positioning. With its high sensitivity, minimal static drift, low power consumption, and lightweight size, it is suitable for in-vehicle handheld devices (like PDAs), vehicle monitoring systems, mobile phones, cameras, and other mobile positioning systems. It is the ideal choice for GPS product applications.
Product Features
1.The module adopts the U-BLOX NEO-6M module, featuring a compact size and excellent performance.
2.The module is equipped with an amplification circuit, which helps the passive ceramic antenna search for satellites quickly. (The MINI version has no onboard antenna.)
3.The module can be configured with various parameters via a serial port, and settings can be saved in EEPROM for easy use.
4.The module has a built-in SMA interface for connecting various active antennas, offering strong adaptability. Additionally, the Mini version has an IPEX interface that can be connected to small-sized active ceramic antennas (available in our store).
5.The module is compatible with 3.3V/5V voltage levels, making it easy to connect to various microcontroller systems.
6.The module comes with a rechargeable backup battery that can retain ephemeris data when power is off:Note: After the main power is disconnected, the backup battery can maintain the storage of GPS ephemeris data for approximately 30 minutes, supporting warm starts or hot starts to achieve fast positioning.
