Product Introduction
1.LM4863 is a dual BTL (Bridge-Tied Load) audio power amplifier IC that delivers stable gain output. When powered by a 5 V supply, it can continuously provide 3 W of undistorted output power with THD+N (Total Harmonic Distortion plus Noise) below 1.0%. In addition, it can operate in single-ended (SE) mode to drive stereo headphones or be used as a preamplifier.
2.LM4863 is designed for audio systems and uses SMT (Surface-Mount Technology), simplifying the peripheral circuitry of audio designs. With only a small number of external components, the system can achieve high-quality audio output.
3.LM4863 features an externally controlled low-power shutdown mode, a stereo headphone amplifier mode, and an internal thermal shutdown protection mechanism. These characteristics significantly improve SNR (Signal-to-Noise Ratio) and reduce distortion.
