TEMT6000 Descrption
The TEMT6000 is an ambient light sensor based on a silicon phototransistor. Its spectral response range is close to the human eye’s visual curve, enabling it to accurately detect the intensity of visible light. This sensor outputs analog voltage signals—with higher light intensity resulting in higher output voltage—and can be directly connected to the ADC pin of a microcontroller. It features high sensitivity, fast response speed, and good temperature stability, with an operating voltage of 3.3V-5V and extremely low power consumption. It is widely used in fields such as automatic backlight adjustment for smartphones and tablets, lighting control in smart homes, and environmental sensing for IoT (Internet of Things) devices, providing intelligent light-sensing functionality for electronic equipment.
