TXS0108E 8-Bit Bidirectional Voltage Translator
The TXS0108E is an advanced 8-bit bidirectional voltage-level translator designed to solve communication problems between devices operating in different voltage domains. Its core feature is automatic direction sensing; it requires no additional direction control pin, as the data lines can automatically determine and facilitate bidirectional data transmission based on the input signals on either side, greatly simplifying system design. It supports any voltage translation combination from 1.2V to 3.6V (e.g., 1.8V ↔ 3.3V) and features a unique built-in edge accelerator that effectively mitigates signal slowdown (slower rise/fall times) caused by level shifting. This ensures high-speed data transmission in both open-drain and push-pull output modes, making it ideally suited for bidirectional bus applications such as I²C, UART, and SPI.
