SSD1306 has multiple interface types, including IIC and SPI protocol interfaces. Moreover, its driving method is simple, making it suitable for electronic DIY enthusiasts. As for ST7789, if it is used for displaying color images, it requires a lot of memory. So, you need to use a development board with large memory; otherwise, it is prone to burning failure.
