Power pins (VDD, GND)
The AHT21B operates within a supply voltage range of 2.0 V to 5.5 V, with 3.3 V recommended as the optimal voltage. Additionally, a 100 nF decoupling capacitor must be connected between VCC and GND to serve as a filter.
Serial Clock (SCL)
SCL (Serial Clock) is used to synchronize communication between the microcontroller and the AHT21B. Since the interface incorporates fully static logic, there is no minimum frequency requirement.
Serial Data (SDA)
The SDA pin is used for data input and output of the sensor. When sending commands to the sensor, SDA is valid at the rising edge of the serial clock (SCL) and must remain stable while SCL is high. The SDA value may be changed after the falling edge of SCL. To ensure communication integrity, the valid period of SDA should be extended by T<sub>SU</sub> before the rising edge of SCL and by T<sub>H</sub> after the falling edge. When reading data from the sensor, SDA becomes valid after SCL goes low (T<sub>V</sub>) and remains valid until the next falling edge of SCL.
