Product Introduction
The MCP4725 is a single-channel 12-bit buffered voltage output DAC with Electrically Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory(EEPROM). Users can store configuration register bits (2 bits) and DAC input data (12 bits) in the EEPROM (14-bit) memory. The DAC can be configured into normal mode or power-saving shutdown mode by setting the configuration register bits. The device can use a 2-wire I2C-compatible serial interface and is powered by a single power supply with a voltage range of 2.7V to 5.5V. This version of the cjmcu-mcp4725 has breakthrough fixes for some issues and circuit board improvements including the IC package, I2C pins, and changes to the overall circuit board size to better fit your projects, as well as some minor adjustments. The board breaks out every pin you need to access and use the MCP4725, including ground and signal output pins for connecting an oscilloscope or any other device that needs to be connected to the board. There are also SCL, SDA, VCC, and another GND on the board for basic I2C breakout. Additionally, if you wish to install multiple MCP4725s on a single bus, the pull-up resistors on this board can be disabled. Simply refer to the connection guide in the documentation section below for instructions and tips on this operation.
