Explanation of Differences between XY-KPWM and XY-PWM1

The function of the switch is only to turn the power on and off; all other settings and usage methods are consistent.

Product Description

It provides PWM output, with adjustable frequency and duty cycle. It has two working modes:

  • Normal Mode:

Duty cycle adjustment step: 1%;Frequency range: 1Hz ~ 150kHz;Duty cycle range: 0% ~ 100%.

  • Fine Mode:

Frequency range: 1Hz ~ 15kHz; Duty cycle adjustment step: 0.1%; Duty cycle range: 0.0% ~ 100%.

The frequency is divided into four ranges and switches automatically:

1.XXX (no decimal point): The smallest unit is 1Hz, with a value range of 1Hz ~ 999Hz;

2.X.XX (decimal point at the hundreds place): The smallest unit is 0.01kHz, with a value range of 1.00kHz ~ 9.99kHz;

3.XX.X (decimal point at the tens place): The smallest unit is 0.1kHz, with a value range of 10.0kHz ~ 99.9kHz;

4.X.X.X (decimal points at the tens and hundreds places): The smallest unit is 1kHz, with a value range of 1kHz ~ 150kHz.

Examples of frequency display:

  • “100” means the PWM outputs 100Hz pulses;
  • “1.01” means the PWM outputs 1.01kHz pulses;
  • “54.1” means the PWM outputs 54.1kHz pulses;
  • “1.2.4” means the PWM outputs 124kHz pulses.

All set parameters are saved when the power is off (non-volatile storage).

Parameter Setting

This XY-PWM module adjusts frequency and duty cycle via a potentiometer. It can detect the rotation speed to enable fast adjustment. By default, it adjusts the duty cycle. Short-press the button to switch to frequency adjustment; long-press for 2s to lock the settings; long-press for 5s to switch modes (Normal Mode / Fine Mode). The operation is simple, and parameters are saved automatically after setting—no data loss when the power is off.
